The Commission on Wartime Contracting met with Defense Dept. & Army officials on the role of contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan. The hearing examined the adequacy of supervision over contractor employees during the drawdown of U.S. troops in Iraq, and coordination of Defense Department agencies that manage and audit contracts.
